What are a father's rights?

And what must he do to get or keep those rights?

In
California, the law is gender blind; no bias can favor or disfavor a parent simply because they are the mother or they are the father.  If the courts truly enforced the law in a gender blind manner, parenting would be easier, and kids would be better off.  But if you are reading this page, you may have already experienced the discrimination that some fathers are experiencing.  We want to help.

The good news is that courts are getting better at seeing parents as parents, rather than as a man or a woman.  And the bad news is that we still have a ways to go.

Are you dealing with a child custody issue?  Is child support difficult?  Are you being denied visitation or is paternity in dispute?  Or most urgently, are you just now starting this process and needing to get it done right?  Is Mother preventing you from seeing your child and Mother lacks a court order for that?

There are many family law firms in
California, and they can help with issues of prenuptials, dissolution, other property matters, etc.  And then there is Warren Law Group PC, where child-related issues is the primary family law we practice.  We too are gender blind, and welcome all parents...but it is for the unique legal needs of fathers that we are uniquely prepared.

If you are ready to hire an attorney to tackle issues of custody, support, or visitation, learn more about Warren Law Group PC and what we offer here in
